Excellent, fascinating and informative weekend at the Blurring the Boundaries conference in Aberdeen. I led sound walks on Saturday afternoon that were well attended (including by Christina Kubisch, see above image).

Blurring the Boundaries

For the next few days I will be involved with the Blurring the Boundaries sound art conference at Aberdeen University where I will be leading soundwalks for participants.

Twelve, Art Farm Project

For the next couple of couple of weeks a collaborative durational performance/sound work produced with artist Martin Prothero will be shown at the Art Farm Project in Roccombe, Devon. The piece involved us sitting in silence overnight in a local woods from 8m to 8am and making an audio recording of the experience.

Flock

I will be taking part in a new exhibition at Spacex Galley in Exeter. Called Flock it considers the often complex relationships between humans and birds. For the show I have produced a collaborative audio piece with sound artist and composer John Levack Drever that documents the varied soundscapes of the Exe Estuary in Devon.

The piece will also be broadcast on Peter Cusack's Vermillion Sounds radio programme on London's Resonance FM.
